This is my flash project over Forks Over Knives . I got the information from the documentary Forks Over Knives .

Local Kids Play Make Games

1 : What I think about the article is that the guy was really surprised we were able to make our games playable and he was upset because once he tried to create a game but didn't work out for him and it was just amazing how he was super surprised we as 8th graders accomplished to make our games work .


2 : The way it made me feel is that I'm really lucky on having the opportunity to be in this class and being able to attend EA prep . It made me feel proud how such making games could be all around the world and everyone knowing about it .


3 : My game was not featured in this article ...


4 :  If my game was featured in this article I would of liked for the author to talk about how hardly we worked on it and to say we are really creative and smart for such making an educational game . I would basically like the author to describe my game .


5 : Well I don't really know what game should the author mention in this article because I think everyone did a really good job this year creating their game .

" Forks Over Knives "

I think this documentary would be about the way a  lot of people eat .  Without them even knowing how much calories they eat everyday , the fat that the people would gain . The people just don't notice how much gaining calories affects them daily .


I think the title implies to the documentary because i guess people fight to burn calories and it implies to the title well that is my opinion but i actually have no idea how the title implies to the documentary . I also think it implies like you use a fork to eat salads and a knife to cut meats .


Notes:


Being obese is a really serious health issue that need to change before it could get worst and could die from it . A lot of people want to change the way the eat but its just to difficult for them to try because it just seems so hard for them since they are so used to what they normally eat in daily basics .

• Cholesterol is a natural process created by animals and humans too .
• People are dying everyday from diabetes .
• When you have diabetes 2 you are in danger of dying so everyday you have to take medicine in order to still be alive .
• You can reduce it by eating healthy food . Like vegetables and fruits . 
• People can also get cancer by the way they eat .
• Corn syrup is so bad for humans to eat .
• Corn syrup doesn't grow naturally .
• People like salty food , fried food and they go to fast food restaurants because they want everything fast and good .
• When someone is in shape they feel much better and they have more energy .

You did such a great job , it the best ! I enjoyed playing your game and I learned about it and knew what the message you were trying to get around the world and make a change about it . You and your team focused in one big social issue and I learned from your game which is the main point of it . It was also fun to play and it got my attention of playing it because of the graphics on it . You and your team mate did a great job :D

Game Title : Unconventional Disaster


Topic Of Game : The topic of my game was to focus on the importance and effectiveness of bullying .


Goal : The learning goal for this game was for the audience to understand that bullying is really a serious problem around the world and that many children are affected really bad by been bullied . We also wanted the audience to learn what to do when they are in the situation that they are been bullied . We included in the game facts about what they should do before anything gets worst .


How would the player learn ? : The player would learn about bullying by learning how its really bad for anyone to bully another kid and the consequences it has when some is been a bully pr is getting bullied . They would learn by answering questions about the actions someone could do to prevent been bullied worst .


What would I like to add or improve upon in the game ? : What I would of liked to add to this game is more level and improve the learning goal , what I mean by this is that I would of like to make the learning goal more efficient , like more visible on what the player is trying to learn in this game .


What was the most challenging of creating this game ? : The most challenging part of creating this game was the levels . The levels where pretty hard because our levels where about a maze and a puzzle . On the maze we had to convert every wall to a symbol in order to make it work , and we had to add a lot of code , and for the puzzle it was as hard as the maze was we had to add a lot of code to both of this levels , but we accomplished it and our game was created .


What are you most proud of  or what did you figure out thorough critical thinking and trial/error ? : What I was most proud of is that this year our game was playable and we accomplished what we wanted which is for our game to actually be playable . I am also really proud of my team mate and self because we actually worked really hard to create this game and make it an educational game .

Respect

                               RESPECT    


Respect is a word that means a lot , to everyone . Respect is when you are nice , kind , friendly , etc...
it is the way you treat people . You want to respect everyone like the way you want to be respected/ treated . You want to represent a good thing about yourself and respect is one of the most important things you have to show . Being respectful is showing good manners . The way respect should be shown in a classroom is by always paying attention in class , and most important listen to the teacher . In the computer lab respect is shown by taking care of all material respecting the property . In the hallways respect could be shown my not hanging out in the hallway blocking the path , and not shoving or causing any trouble . Respect during breakfast , or lunch can be shown by respecting every persons lunch time or breakfast time . When visitor come to campus we should absolutely show respect , always act correctly no playing around and show that you care and want to learn . Especially when we visit other places we have to show plenty of respect . Respect needs to always be show and set a good example that you have that respect .
